LETTER TO PASTOR ADEJARE ADEBOYE

LETTER TO PASTOR ADEJARE ADEBOYE

Adejare Enouch Adeboye

Permit me to call you by your name

From grace to grace is the chorus on my lips

In the mire of your living, your mind got framed

As if somebody taught you fame

Your desire to be lettered fell their deaf ears

Education was expensive, Ignorance is cheap

Don’t you get the gist?

Father reacted, mother rebuked

Quickly, you created a template to force them out of will

Your decision to go hunger strike was your driven force

In thin and thick you scale-through the elementary

‘’ENOUGH IS ENOUGH FOR ACADEMY’’

That was your father response

You have tasted the light

You cherish the light from the turnel

Having tasted from the cup of knowledge

No doubt you had seen beyond normal

And you have taste for being extraordinary

You broke the chain of illiteracy

Because you have seen the sun from afar

Shouldering the bright stars

Accompanied with rainbow of many colour

After many years, your vision came animate

The rainbow appeared

You stood like a man of influence

And in the class of destinies

Mathematics became your language

And mathematically the stars begins the journey

Yet you still have the smell of poverty

You relocated your way for better opportunity

While you were solving the equation

You were interrupted by the gospel truth

Calculating the lies of the herbalist

Death swept the son of the death away

You quickly calculated the risk of being a victim

Jesus was brought to you

At first, you felt reluctant

You were riding on the horse of success

You humbly dove your hat

Under the leadership of Baba Akindayomi

With your status as a LECTURER

You stoop to serve as interpreter to that God’s general, Prophet Akindayomi

The mantle of power passed on to you

The carcass leaves made some noise

Snake and scorpion tried their stings and bites

The sheep is sent into the wolves

No cutlass, gun, arrow but word

You sailed through the stormy sea

Today we all can see

I tried to check your shoulder

But I notice no shoulder pad for title

Phd, most Reverend, Evangelist, the most senior, Apostle,JP etc

All was swept away from the look of your Jacket

Simply Pastor E.A Adeboye

With your status, you need a lot of prefix

With all the spiritual gift, you need a lot of suffix

Yet you claim nothing to yourself

Some noise makers call you a teacher

Yes, you are

They say you are not a prophet

Yes, you are

Baba I am waiting for your response

But the testimonies of your congregant is your response

What a spiritual mathematician

Baba who is crying for 2bedroom flat

Just to accommodate Leke and siblings

Now live in a city

Let somebody shout Hallelujah

This is your slogan and it goes viral

We never knew God is our daddy

Until Pastor E.A Adeboye start calling God MY DADDY

Let somebody shout Hallelujah is a niche

And that is what we know of baba E.A Adeboye

This is my letter to one of the God's General, Pastor ENOCH ADEJARE ADEBOUE
